One of the highest profile fighters on the Bellator roster Paul Daley has been charged with assault in Britain and removed from the upcoming Season Bellator 8 tournament.  According to ESPN 29 year old Paul Daley has been charged with assault following an altercation in a bar, banned from entering the United States and is looking at up to two years in prison.  Daley stated on his facebook:

His facebook statement denies being involved in a bar brawl, confirms that he is out of Season 8 Bellator tournament but  does not deny there are assault charges that could lead to the delay in visa decision.

Daley signed with Bellator earlier this year and is 1-0 with the promotion.  Prior to that Daley was ousted from the UFC for throwing a punch at Josh Koscheck after the end of their UFC 113 bout in 2010.

How dare they besmrich this fine young gentleman’s reputation! Yeah right, this guy is a pathetic joke. He could have been making fat jack in the UFC but he is a hot headed idiot and screwed it up. Send this piece of trash to the D level promotions and let him rot there.
