Bellator 58 Ratings Are In And They Are Up

Last weekend’s Bellator 58 card turned in the most solid numbers of the season with 269,000 viewers. The ratings prove that the recently dethroned lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez is by far their biggest ratings draw.
Bellator 58 took place from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and featured a main event between Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler. After an epic first two rounds Chandler was able to drop the champ with punches, take dominant position on the ground and submit Alvarez to earn the Bellator lightweight title.
The rating is the companies highest since the start of the current fifth season. After the live event aired an additional 160,000 viewers tuned in for the replay giving the show a total of 429,000 viewers on MTV2.
