Bellator 55 Ratings Slide to 168,000 viewers.

Last weekend’s Bellator 55 event on MTV2 caught an average audience of 168,000 at home viewers. This number marks a 17,000 household dip from the prior weekends Bellator 54 which drew 185,000.
Bellator 55 took place on Saturday, Oct. 23 from the Cocopah Resort and Casino in Yuma, Ariz.
The main event saw 125er turned 135er, Alexis Vila edge out Eduardo Dantas in a controversial decision victory. The win puts Vila in the Bellator bantamweight final round. Also on the card was Bellator light-heavyweight champion, Christian M’Pumbu who lost his first bout since winning the Bellator title. Luckily for him it was a three-round non-title affair.
With these latest figures, it is clear that the Bellator promotion is still struggling with finding consistent rankings. The low figures are almost expected when up against a UFC card but there was nothing notable going on last weekend to justify such a small audience.
