Bellator 51 Ratings Up Slightly From Bellator 50

Last weekend’s Bellator event peaked out a little higher than the previous installment which was recorded at an all-time low for the promotion.
Bellator 51 drew in 158,000 viewers, up 39% from the last promotional broadcast however the number still reflects poorly on the promotions overall broadcast history. Out of the 17 events aired on MTV2 the latest installment ranks out in the 14th position, a huge drop in views from this year’s average.
The event featured the opening round of their season-five bantamweight tournament. Stand-out talent like Alexis Vila, Eduardo Danta, Marcos Galvoa and Ed West all advanced through the promotions first round but failed to draw a respectable television audience.
