Belfort Not Interested In Offered Tim Kennedy Fight, Would Rather Fight At Heavyweight

“It doesn’t make sense that Vitor, who is No. 1 in the rankings, should fight against No. 2, No. 6 or No. 10 in his weight class,” Prado said. “His next fight in the middleweight class will be against the winner of Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva. If the UFC wishes him to fight in any class above middleweight, we are at their disposal. It can be anyone, Tim Kennedy, even Roy Nelson, but it has to be at 205 pounds or heavyweight – he’ll even fight as a heavyweight. Vitor wants to fight, but in his weight class, only if for the belt.”

In a release to the Brazilian Media, Belfort’s manager and wife, Joana Prado puts a halt on the rumors of a Tim Kennedy versus Vitor Belfort fight in Brazil.

I think the ufc should stop catering to this guy, 3fights straight in Brazil?? Dude stop cranking the roids so you can actually for 1, have a fair fight and 2, you can compete anywhere else asides from being confinde to brazil.

    • Again.. says:

3 straight fights in Brazil? Did you really just say that? Again people on this site don’t know shit. It’s been 2 fights in Brazil his fight with Jones was in Canada. Hes not on roids dumb ass big difference between roids, and TRT. Person takes 2 fights in Brazil, and he automatically can’t fight anywhere else. GSP has fought in Canada for a long time! Is he on roids too? Stfu you’re ignorant, and know nothing on this topic.
