Belcher vs. Okami II Booked For UFC 155 | UFC NEWS

A middleweight contest between Alan Belcher and Yushin Okami has been booked for the UFC’s year-end-show in Las Vegas.
For the two middleweights this bout is a rematch from way back in 2006 where Okami was able to best Belcher via decision at UFC 62.
MMAfighting.com was the first to report the match.
UFC 155 is set to take place on Dec. 29 and features a main event between UFC heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez. Other bouts booked for the event are Chael Sonnen vs. Forrest Griffin, Chris Weidman vs. Tim Boetsch, Gray Maynard vs. Joe Lauzon, and the returns of Matt Mitrione and Chris Leben.

WAR BELCHER!!!! WAR LEBEN!!!! WAR MAYNARD!!! WAR WEIDMAN!!! WAR VALASQUEZ!!! WAR SONNEN!!! WAR MITRIONE!!!
Dosent he have some crazy back injury?
That right there goes to show u that fighters fake injuries.belcher didn’t wanna fight vitor.i know vitor accepted the jones fight but Alan said he was injured right before vitor accepted the fight.he had some crazy back injury.they even had a forum on here that said Alan will be out for a while.now all of a sudden he’s ready to fight in December.seems suspicious to me.i can be wrong I don’t know??????
This fight is on December 29th. That gives Belcher 100+ days to recover, plus the time that has already passed since his injury. He has already said he would have fought Belfort with his injury. From my knowledge, he hasn’t done something similar to this before. I think he deserves the benefit of a doubt. I’m feeling a first round TKO victory for “The Talent”.
Watch people most of these guys are going to be injured watch and see I’m sorry but to me this card looks to good to be true sorry :/
maybe so, but a stacked card is needed right now. I’m pumped for it.
This makes me mad. Belcher should be fighting Weidman. Weidman can avoid fighting the top guys at 185, but the top guys will always fight each other. Bisping, Sonnen, Brian Stann, Belcher, Okami, Vitor all have one thing in common: they all fight each other.
I kno weidman’s bein a bitch he has ok wins Against nobodies
also mark Munoz who wanted a title he has wins over Chris leben wow and now Chris weidman has a win over mark Munoz wow also yushin and Matt hamill gawd these fighters are pissing me off just fight f**k!! Don’t complain
GlAd ur healthy belcher
It seems like forever since the last UFC event took place! MMA fans are so tired and sick of all that has taken place over the last month or so. Incredible!
Now whenever I see a potential event coming up I’m reminded of the recent issues of injuries, short fight notices, the mouth of Dana, and cancellations.
Bruce Buffer gives us a ” It’s About F*ckin’ Time” as you Introduces the fighters on the next event! lol
What a pisser (buffer comment) that’s gold
Belcher will destroy this dude this time, hes on another level and akiyama has been exposed! I still want to see belcher vs vitor unless he walks away with the lhw belt, i would lmao.
Belcher!!!! Hopefully he destroys Okami and sends him to 170 or another organization. And to whoever said Belcher wasn’t going to fight Vitor, your an idiot. He even stated that his back was gonna only take a couple weeks, and it was kind of a blessing.
Damnit all PLEASE let no one get injured for this event cuz this is one card that could not possibly be canceled from the loss of one fight. Completely stacked to the brim.
Also I have no doubt Belcher has come a long way since UFC 62 and should come out on top for this one.
this should be a great scrap!!!
This should be a pretty technical stand up
Fight. Until Belcher finds a hole and then
KO. Make Duke proud
