Assuncao vs. Lee Added To UFC on FUEL TV 10

Slowly but surely the UFC on Fuel 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum card is piecing together.

The event, slated for June 8th in Fortaleza, Brazil just added a bantamweight bout.

Tatame, a Brazillian news site, reports that Brazilian Raphael Assuncao will mix it up with England’s Vaughan Lee.

Assuncao has amassed a solid 18-4 record. Most recently he knocked off Mike Easton at UFC on Fox 5 in December, which made it his third win in that division. In that bout, Assuncao did break his arm. Assuncao lost his UFC debut to Erik Koch. That bout was at featherweight. Assuncao is currently ranked sixth in the UFC’s official rankings.

Lee stands at 13-8-1 and is coming off a decision win over Motonobu Tezuka at UFC on Fuel 7 in London, England last February. His losses in the UFC have come against Chris Cariaso and T.J. Dillashaw and his only other win in the organization was via submission over Kid Yamamoto.

As it stands, UFC on Fuel 10 has 13 fights slated.
