Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva Undergoes Surgery For Nagging Injury

Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva is spending his suspension healing up a nagging injury.

After putting on one of the best fights of 2013 against Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night 33 in Australia, Silva tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone after undergoing testosterone replacement therapy. He was subsequently suspended for nine months by the UFC.

Apparently, Silva has decided to go under the knife to repair a shoulder injury while he has this long layoff.

“After hours of surgery in my shoulder I’m very well and I will be back 100% thank you everyone,” Silva posted to his instagram.

It was one of the best fights of 2013 before we knew he juiced. Now it’s a great fight by Mark Hunt, Bigfoot not so much.
