Anderson Silva: "I'll fight for another six or seven years"
“I’ll fight for another six or seven years and then I’ll stop. I stopped to think about it and I’ll postpone my retirement for a little longer. Then I’ll think about TV. I guess it’s interesting,”
UFC middleweight kingpin, Anderson Silva, took to Brazilian media outlet Globo.com recently to discuss the status of his career.
With his manager Ed Soares usually fielding question on behalf of the champ it has been widely thought that the pound for pound king was going to retire once his current UFC contract had matured.
Silva fans can now rest easy because according to him, “The Spider” isn’t going anywhere for a long time.
Good news for the fans, nightmarish ramifications for the rest of the middleweight division.
