All Preliminary Fights To Air On Fox Networks Starting In 2012
“Starting next year – every prelim fight will air on a FOX network”
During the UFC on Fox press conference call, it was announced that starting in 2012, all preliminary fights will air on a Fox Network. FX will now broadcast the fights that were handled by Spike TV, while FUEL TV will air the fights that are currently available via Facebook streaming. FUEL will also serve as the broadcast host for other UFC content, such as weigh ins, countdown shows, the popular “UFC Primetime” specials, as well as other special UFC content. Spike and Facebook have long been the home to all the UFC’s undercard fights, as well as many of their specials, but with the promotions new network deal in place, it looks like all content now has a new home within the Fox family.

Sucks to be Canadian today. I never missed a prelim fight since they started broadcasting on facebook. In fact, I haven’t missed a single UFC fight since. I really hope they sell the rights to a Canadian network. I’m so sad.
