Alchemist Management Announces the Signing of Jimi Manuwa
While speaking to Alchemist Chairman Jeff Aronson about making good on the wager we has, he told me that they recently signed UFC light heavyweight Jimi Manuwa.
The 32-year-old Nigeria native who now makes his home in London, England and made his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel: Struve vs. Miocic back in September of 2012. The undefeated Manuwa defeated Kyle Kingsbury via 2nd round TKO. The doctors stopped the fight after the third round because of the damage Kingbsury had sustained to his face.
The UFC has already lined up his second opponent as he will face Cyrille Diabate at UFC on Fuel TV 7. Wembley Arena in London on February 16. That card will be headlined by a bout between UFC Interim Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao annd Michael McDonald.
Minuwa joins an already impressive lists of athletes who are under the Alchemist Banner. He joins Rory MacDonald, Brendan Schaub, Liz Carmouche, Nate Marquardt, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and Stefan Struve.
