Akira Corassani Injured Our Of Bout With Jason Young At UFC On FUEL TV 2

An injury has forced Akira Corassani out of his scheduled appearance on the FUEL TV 2 card against Jason Young and as a result he will now miss the opportunity to fight in front of his hometown crowd.
BJPENN.COM confirmed the news this afternoon.
It is unknown if the UFC will seek a new opponent for Young or if the bout will be postponed until a later date.
UFC on FUEL TV 2 is now officially set to take place at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on April 14th. In the main event of the evening light-heavyweight fighters Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will square off in a three-round matchup that is pivotal to the 205 pound division.
Corassani was introduced to UFC fans as a cast member on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 14 show. Having not faced professional competition since a TKO loss to Paul Reed on the regional circuit in early 2011, the controversial Corassani took to the Ultimate Fighter where he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the series. Injury forced him off of his scheduled UFC debut on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 14 finale.
