Aaron Simpson vs Kenny Robertson Booked With Fitch Out Injured | UFC News

Kenny Robertson steps in to face Aaron Simpson in place of Jon Fitch.
Simpson will face Robertson at UFC on FUEL TV 4 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose on July 11, 2012.
Fitch had to pull out of the bout with Simpson as he partially tore his ACL and will be out for around four weeks.
The bout will be Simpsons first at Welterweight after an entire career at Middleweight which saw him build an overall record of (11-3) (6-3) in the UFC.
In his last fight Simpson found himself considerably out sized by huge Middleweight Rony Markes who deafeated Simpson via a very close split decision.
Simpsons new opponent Robertson is (0-1) in the as he was knocked out by Welterweight contender Mike Pierce in the second round at UFC 126. Since then he has rebounded with a spinning back fist knockout victory over former UFC fighter Lucio Linhares.
