Coming off of a close but entertaining decision victory over longtime foe Dan Henderson at UFC 204, middleweight champion Michael Bisping is wasting no time in looking for his next fight.

In fact, Bisping was originally in talks to welcome former welterweight champ Georges Saint Pierre at UFC 206 in Toronto, just two months removed from his first title defense against Hendo last month.

“I didn’t ask to fight GSP,” Bisping told TMZ. “GSP asked to fight me. He called up the UFC and asked for me, then the UFC called me and asked “Mike would you take this fight?” I said “listen”, if he wants to come out of retirement and get his ass kicked in front of his hometown, of course I’ll oblige.”

“GSP’s a big star. I said “no problem!” Turns out, he didn’t want to sign the deal.”

“If he changes his mind, we still have time. We still have six weeks, I’ll fly out to Toronto, and I’ll beat him in his own backyard.”

With Saint Pierre off the table, the British middleweight champ revealed Nick Diaz as another potential UFC 206 dance partner.

“I like the idea of fighting on that (UFC 206) card. All the other top middleweights are fighting and booked for fights, so who else is there?”

“Nick Diaz fights at 185 pounds. His last fight was against Anderson Silva art 185 pounds. If Diaz wants to fight and is free for UFC 206, let’s do it.”

“I’d take Nick out pretty easily. He’s a fought guy, but he knows what’s up.”

No word yet on whether or not Bisping vs. Diaz will be officially added to then December 10 card, which will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight rematch between champion Daniel Cormier and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.
