Stann is a nice respectable guy, but his performance was so bad I was almost suspecting him of throwing the fight.

What this really is, is Chael winning a match that was tailored for him. Everyone hears Brian Stann and thinks, “Oh, that’s the guy who’s been knocking everyone out. He will take Chael out for sure.” But they forget that Stann can’t wrestle, or stuff a takedown really. Nor has he fought a strong wrestler in MW until this match with Chael.
Oh up front I didn’t really think Stann would win, but I would have thought he would at least have put up a good fight? This was so easy it was almost surreal.
It was weird, like Stann was not fully aware what was happening kinda weird…
Yeah, it’s hard to believe that he came into this fight prepared, with the best game planner behind him (Jackson), one of the best wrestling coaches (Sonnen was actually worried about this), and riding so much confidence to get handled so easily.
Terrible stand-up (by the ref) in that fight.
Stann getting absolutely manhandled by maestro Chael P. Sonnen. Sonnen is one of the hardest workers inside the Octagon, there’s no doubt about it.
its too bad anderson cant take this guy..cheal has the bullshit style tp beat him,,plus anderson is coming off surgey and long long layoff..its just not fair..total bullshit…anderson should get a tune up fight same as cheal did…this is soo sad that a shit bag like cheal is going be the man to take anderson down…i wish the fight was in brazil so he would atleast get killed after winning the belt
Stann hit sonnon w a couple good shots during the 15 seconds they were on their feet, makes me think sonnon has a good chin cuz if stann can’t do anything else well yet, he sure as hell can throw heavy hands onto someones head. Honestly think stann vs silva would be a good fight cuz stann has unreal power and goes after people, kinda like sonnon did against silva on the feet, most people run away or stand in front of silva and wait to see how they are getting knocked out, sonnon just ran in there, if stann did the same, I think he would have a chance at putting silva out just based on what sonnon showed you can do on the feet if you aren’t scared of silva, just sonnon has no power to finish him, but whatever, every fight is different.

Question for all of the Chael Sonnen believers that actually believed that Sonnen has a legit disorder; why didn’t Chael request a TRT booster for this fight? Why not for the Bisping fight?
