Nate Marquardt Talks TRT & Brands Woodley A Boring Fighter

Nate Marquardt comments while on the MMAHour.
Marquardt firstly talks about stopping TRT use and opting to try other methods to improve his health.
“I didn’t know if I was going to be able to fulfill my dreams going that route (TRT). I just feel it was so much of a hassle and stress with the commissions and all that, I guess, that the right thing for me to do right now is to choose not to do it. And you know, definitely I’ve pursued a lot of other stuff to try to help my health and a lot of it’s helping. I feel great right now. I’m in really good shape, and that’s not something I’m worried about right now. I’m sure there are guys who misuse TRT, but there’s also guys who plain out use steroids. Guys are going to cheat no matter what. That’s something that you can’t get around.”
Marquardt is also set to face the undefeated Tyron Woodley in his next bout and brands Woodley a boring fighter.
“We’re there to fight, not hold each other on the ground for half-an-hour. I don’t know what he can think of for a game plan for me. He’s not going to hold me down for five rounds. Is that his game plan, to take me down every round and just hold me down? That’s not going to happen. He’s definitely a boring fighter as far as other guys who let him hold them down.”
The July 14th bout with Woodley will determine who becomes the next Strikeforce Welterweight Champion as the belt has been vacant since Nick Diaz departure from the promotion.

Yeah and Marquardt was one of them. Not once, but 3 times! 3 ****ing times he got caught, the nerve to talk about guys using steroids being a 3 time offender himself.
If you do a little research, I believe you will see that 2 of the times he got caught were both from the same TRT incident. So it was really one time, Dana just put his spin on things and called it 2 times. The first time he got caught, he was taking a supplement that had recently(6 months earlier) been banned by the commision/ufc.
I’ve always liked Nate, not so much lately. I just think he is either a cheater, or kind of a dumbass.
Lmmfao!! I forgot about that, yea thats very hypocrite of him to say, Guys are gonna cheat no matter what, after he got cought..lmmfao!! But i still like his fighting style, if he does stay clean and healthy then my respect for him will come back 100% but for now he needs to back up his being clean talk.

I like watching Nate fight but he needs to stay quiet on the steroids topic. He’s shooting himself in the foot.
Totally agree he seems like a cool dude too but don’t think he can say anything about PED’s
I’m for TRT for the right reasons, but Nate literally went against himself. He used it, and got busted. He was saying he needed it, but now he doesn’t? The **** man?
i wonder what kind of shape he’ll be in now that he’s off the “supplement”…
never been a fan of marquardt but i hope he crushes woodley….twood is arguably one of the most boring fighters to watch..between him and askren
