The Ultimate Fighter Live On FX Episode 6 Ratings Report

By Lynn Mitchell:
There was a slight climb in ratings for the sixth episode of The Ultimate Fighter producing 1 million viewers.  Episode 6 is when Team Faber took its first lead of the season.  Joe Proctor submits Team Cruz’s Chris Tickle in the first-round making the series 3-2.

The deal with FOX caused the series to move from SpikeTV to FX.  It didn’t help the ratings when Spike TV decided to run past episodes calling it “Ultimate Fighter Fridays”.  The prior seasons with SpikeTV – TUF was taped and edited to its entirety before the season even began.  This season the episodes are taped and edited during the week followed by a live fight.

Episode 1: 1.3 million viewers
Episode 2: 1.1 million viewers
Episode 3: 1.2 million viewers
Episode 4: 1.1 million viewers
Episode 5: 947,000 viewers
Episode 6: 1 million viewers

The reason ratings are down is because people are tired of seeing that Dick head Cruz. **** that no finishing fights bitch.

  2. RampageRiDDiM says:

TUF Brazil is alot better than watching Cruz talk shit. I hope Faber knocks him out coz I don’t wanna sit through a 5 round fight of him coming in and out and causing zero damage. Shit champion in my book

  3. Hjortur Halldorsson says:

I 100% agree TUF Brasil is much better. The fighters on that show are very good and there’s definitely a champion amongst them. But Rodrigo Damm needs to learn some GnP as fast as possible, because I seriously don’t want to see him just laying on his opponent in the semis. Make him watch some tapes of a young Ortiz, Hughes, GSP and these guys, or maybe even fights with Mark Munoz.

Cruz is so ****ing boring and I always feel like he’s trying to make himself bigger than he is by trying to spread his lats, but maybe that’s just me.

  4. Ikua75 says:

I believe that well is dry! That cow is tapped!

  5. Dre Hella says:

I personally think it should have had more promoting… I didn’t even know the show was airing. Where can i watch TUF Brazil?
