Njokuani vs Taylor Booked For UFC on Fuel TV 4
Just coming off a unanimous decision win over John Makdessi, Anthony Njokuani already had his next opponent.
The 15-6 (2-2 in the UFC) lightweight will square off against Paul Taylor.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 is set to go down in San Jose California on July 11 from the HP Pavillion.
The two were originally scheduled to meet back in 2011 but Taylor had to pull out due to injury. This will be the first time Taylor has been back in the octagon since UFC 126 when he KO’d Gabe Ruediger.
Also scheduled for battle the same night is ‘the Filipino Wrecking Machine’ Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman. Munoz is on a four fight win streak, stopping Chris Leben at UFC 138, at his last outing.
Weidman is undefeated in his Mixed Martial Arts career (8-0), going four straight inside the octagon. Munoz will definitely be the biggest test of his young career. The fights will take place on July 11th on UFC on Fuel 4.
