UFC on FOX 4 Get's Better, Travis Browne Vs. Ben Rothwell Added | UFC NEWS

By: Jason Kindschy
The fight card for UFC on FOX 4 just keeps getting better.
A heavyweight bout between rising star Travis “Hapa” Browne (13-0-1), and newly re-invented veteran of the sport, “Big” Ben Rothwell (32-8-0) has been added to the UFC on FOX 4 line up.
UFC on FOX 4 is set to take place August 4th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The prelims are rumored to be airing on FUEL TV, and the bout order is yet to be determined.
The August 4th card is also set to feature a bout between Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida squaring off against Ryan “Darth” Bader, on top of the battle for number one contender ship between Brian Stann and the UFC’s newest signie, Hector Lombard. Joe Lauzon is also rumored to be fighting Terry Etim on August 4th as well.
Greg Jackson-trained Travis Browne has been on an impressive tear since his Octagon debut, staying undefeated and having only one lack-luster performance that resulted in a controversial draw against Cheick Kongo. Since then “Hapa” has gone on to KO Stefan Struve via crippling super-man punch, and his most recent performance being against Chad Griggs at UFC 145 where Browne subbed the UFC new comer in the first round via arm triangle. The submission win was declared “Submission of the Night” as well. Travis Browne has shown his well rounded skills, and his incredible athleticism for such a tall man, and he will look to keep climbing the ranks with another impressive performance over Ben Rothwell.
“Big” Ben Rothwell looked to be in serious shape at the UFC 145 weigh in’s, and his new physique was matched with a renewed tenacity and determination to prove he belongs at the top. Rothwell was awarded “Knockout of the Night” at UFC 145 for his 70 second stoppage of Brendan Schaub that left “The Hybrid” reaching for the stars near the arena ceiling. Previous to his re-birth, Rothwell is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Mark Hunt, and prior to that loss, Rothwell grabbed a decision victory over Gilbert Yvel. Rothwell credited new trainers for a change in his training and life that led to his new-found physique and looks to keep the momentum moving forward against Travis Browne.
I don’t know about you guys, but it looks to me that UFC on FOX 4 is shaping up to be an amazing fight card, and it’s FREE! The UFC looks to deliver for the fans yet again on August 4th in LA.

HAWAII ! WAR BROWNE
Machida, Lombard, Lauzon, Browne
Browne by TKO. But I don’t think Lombard deserves a title shot with just one fight in the UFC, maybe 2 of the UFC’s top ten guys then a title shot.
