Brock Lesnar's Losing Streak Continues

By Chris Taylor:
For the first time since March 2004, Brock Lesnar returned to the ring in the WWE. His opponent was John Cena in an extreme rules match in the main event of the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
Lesnar came out wearing some familiar gear (MMA shorts and MMA gloves) to go along with his wrestling boots and knee pads. He opened the match with a takedown and then some trademark ground-and-pound. He landed an elbow that cut Cena’s head wide open. Cena tried to rally, but Lesnar took right back over, forcing the doctor’s to come in and take a look at the cut.
The match was allowed to continue and Lesnar pounds on Cena some more. After wiping Cena’s blood on his chest and then licking some of it, he knees Cena out of the ring and tells John to “bring it!”.
The match would continue in a direction that would lead all to assume that the ‘Next Big Thing’ would be victorious. After a failed kimura attempt, Lesnar hits Cena with a brutal flying knee. Lesnar pulls Cena off the ground to deliver the ‘F5′ but Cena surprises Lesnar by hitting him in the face with a chain. Cena stalks him and lifts him up for an ‘Attitude Adjustment’ and hits it with Brock landing onto the steps. Referee steps in and counts one, two, three. Cena wins.
Coming off his third loss in a row, one must wonder what type of confidence Brock has left. Losing to Cain and Alistair is one thing but Cena?
Something tells me the former UFC Champion won’t lose any sleep over the loss though, with his 5 million dollar contract and all. In fact, he is still probably enjoying life more than his last UFC opponent (Alistair Overeem), who won’t be seeing a fight purse any time soon.

No kidding, as much as I hate him and his roids, I have to give him some credit, he beat some UFC greats. But still I wonder how he passed testing…..glad he’s gone from the sport.
He probably wasn’t on roids while in the UFC. His body did get a bit sluggish compared to the WWE days.
he did do trt
hahahahaha my hero man! What does he mean brocks confidence though ? Don’t you already know if you are going to lose or not before the bout in pro wrestling ?
Exaclty lmao
Wtf?! How can u compare Cena loss to Cain/Overeem..
i totally agree wwe is ****ing staged wat a waste of a news story i thourt this was going to be intresting not pointless
That shit is fake he knew he was gonna lose that bullshit two weeks ago it’s all fake.
Yeah it’s ****ed up knowing your gonna go out there to lose.. **** WWE
Most WWE fights are fake, but this was a real one! John Cena vs Dos Santos should be next to unify the belts. John Cena by GnP.
i’d say dos santos would win about 10 seconds into first round by knockout, wrestling is fake as ****, the hitting with a chain was real? you need to get real bitch
it’s called sarcasm.
What the **** are you talking about?! Damn!
Sarcasm. Look it up. fricken public schools…
Hey King Chris I think you need to turn the sarcasm off. Apparently everyone’s detector is set to off cause these guys didn’t get it.
Of course it’s fake you idiot. Who the f’ck does not know that beside 5 year olds and retards like yourself?
Why is this even posted on an MMA website? He left MMA cause he no longer could hang with the elite fighters, to go where everything is planned ahead of time.. So why are people posting about him and WWE?
Wrestlings fake stupid post doesnt ever
Matter what happened it’s written dwn and handed to u two weeks before the event stupid comparisons
… a scripted lose to a real loss is comparable?
This story should not be covered on an MMA website
Brock lose to Overroid is not a lose. Overroid was on steroids. He new he could not beat Brock without help.
His test came up clean. And don’t think Lesnar was ever clean.
Brock was on Roids to ****ing retard.
I’m glad that those Roid gorillas are not fighting anytime soon.
Its a joke dumbasses, how can you compare scripted matches to unscripted fights? You cant!
kinda like comparing old pride matches to the ufc
Hey dumbasses… It was a joke article
What are you guys talking about? WWE is totally real. duh.
you’re just being sarcastic, right? If not, go back to your WWE forums man
WWE stupidity is for children. Please stick with MMA news. All the fake wrestling news we need we can get from the iron sheik and scott steiners twitter accounts. Lol
Good thing it doesn’t really matter because it’s all pre-determined and fake.
Its ****ing fixed!!! Why the hell post about the loss???
I can see posting about it in general, but why emphasize about the loss?
Because it was sarcasm you stupid god damn retard. Holy shit this world is filled with inbreeds up on here. Wow.
shame to who ever writes about wwe has a sport. its entertainment, vince mcmahon said it himself. its a mans soap opera. just add roids and a crap load of money.
Looks like there are plenty of noobs here who “trains ufc” and don’t like “fake fighting” LOLOLOLOLOL.
Sometimes, the logic of MMA fans are just laughable.
It can be embarrassing too as a MMA fan. Lol
I’m pretty sure this was written as a joke. You geeks need to calm down.
LOL even of the story was a joke. At least get the facts straight. He for one didn’t try and take Cena off the ground before he got hit with the chain! He went for another flying crap and got hit from the ropes. It might be fake but I enjoyed watching Brock again
He can’t even win when it’s rigged. Ha.
HAAAAAAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I understand the joke with this story but I have no interest in hearing about this guy anymore. I stuck for him and was psyched for him in how he took MMA by storm and changed the future of the heavyweight division (we now will have all these heavier/bigger fighters) but he went back to his old ways after pretending he didnt want to deal with that fame and nuisance anymore. Not going to judge wanting that money but doesnt mean I want to hear about him
That’s what always annoyed me about WWE. One “wrestler” dominates the entire match, the other one pulls off a finishing move and it’s over. So ****ing lame. I really didn’t think they’d let Lesnar lose that one, I figured with him returning and all they’d let him win a few to start a feud or something. Not that I give a ****, I don’t mind watching Lesnar lose, scripted or not. Guess McMahon still doesn’t like Lesnar, looks like he was just capitalizing on his situation, not that you can blame him.
pat barry vs cheick kongo
That was a great fight, but that’s MMA, where any thing can happen. They can script it a little better, that’s just lack of effort.
The WWE pretty much lets Cena win all the big matches. If they don’t little kids everywhere start crying.
Brock’s whole outfit thing he had on was ridiculous hahaha. Wwe is so lame. And Brock is a *****. I guess it makes sense tho to “fake” getting your ass kicked and make million then to really get your ass kicked and make a couple mill. He’s still a bissssshhh
Your all dumb this is obviously a joke article making fun of brock who left UFC for wwe coz 1. He can’t handle the real thing and 2. The money
+1
It is staged, I can still see it being demoralizing
Much love to brock and **** all the lame hater that think they just found out the secret to pro wrestling
”did you here guys pro wrestling is fake”
”no shit and so is your moms teeth”
in the past 4 years there has only been 3 different heavy weight ufc champs and only one of then actually defended his belt and that’s brock haters
Dear BJPenn.com…please stop reporting on the WWE which is faker than Pam Anderson’s boobs
Man that was a good match.
I love both pro wrestling and mma
Obviously it was a joke article, lighten up
Brock never failed a drug test.. ever.. war brock all day!
Yeah I’m sure that trunk load of steroids Lesnar was caught with by cops was not for him and he was just delivering them to all his wrestling buddies
We should not need to read this garbage on a MMA site. Do not promote WWE or Fake Wrestling. This article gives it credibility when really it deserves none.
It was a joke you virgin idiot. Damn MMA fans are the most senitive b*tches. Holy cow go get laid.
+1
Get these guys a Kleenex
Please do NOT call those whiny bitches “MMA fans!” They are ass clowns with ZERO sense of humor and they take this stuff WAY too seriously! Most are “new fans” if anything. Meaning, that most are new to MMA in general and have only started following it for a few years at best. TEAL fans know the difference and are NOT bothered by these articles. We know the difference between real and entertainment sports. The two will ALWAYS co-exist and, if you actually STUDY the histories of both, professional wrestling WAS legit for MANY years before it went into “predetermined” and “scripted” matches. Hell, mixed styles, challenge matches were how they started out, and how many of the title matches were started! Ad Santel vs Tokugoro Ito. Or the matches that followed with Santel vs Sakai, Miyake, Shoji, etc. And, the matches used REAL submissions and holds, and were as legit as they come. That is until the “casual fan,” who most of the time had NO clue or training, about what was going on during the match. Because of that, it then staryed to become the entertainment “sport” that it has evolved into today.
Secondly, if you don’t like it, then DON’T WATCH OR READ STUFF ABOUT IT!
Now, go train!
I’ve only been really into MMA since about 2009, but ever since then I’ve done everything I can to learn about the UFC. I would like to consider myself a UFC buff now, but I’d probably forget some of the good things. But when I see something about WWE on an MMA site, I feel a little bit more like not tuning in. I get that it’s Brock Lesnar, but he’s done and it’s time we moved on.
I am glad that you are at least trying to learn the deep rooted history of MMA. It goes back farther than the start of the UFC, or even the Gracies and their challenge matches. Glad to see another generation taking up the challenge to, and being open enough and WILLING, learn about the world of MMA.
I can see your point, but you HAVE to admit, that Lesnar WAS legit in his amateur wrestling, and his dedication to trying to learn the MMA game, and actually accomplishing what he did, becoming the UFC heavyweight champion AND defending it TWICE. But, because he went to WWE to earn the MONEY to get together a great fight camp and to afford the costs that it would take to make a bid for that UFC title, has “tainted” his entire legacy??? Yet you NEVER hear about this kind of talk with guys like Dan Severn, Mark Coleman (japan pro wrestling), Josh Barnett, Kazushi Sakuraba, Minoro Suzuki, Ken Shamrock, etc. HELL! Dan Severn used to carry in his NWA world title BEFORE AND AFTER he won his first UFC title! It is ridiculous how much jealousy seems to be a part of the American psyche. People refuse to give Lesnar his credit, even though the things he accomplished outside of the “sports entertainment” realm, are DREAMS for some that they will NEVER accomplish!
Besides, it was a joke article, and perhaps just a bit of a poke and prod at Lesnar for going back to the WWE. But, for the fake stuff, he sure is making a LOT of damn money! ($5 million a YEAR! holy crap!)
Oh man you’re the biggest faggot f**ktardsRus “I STUDY WRESTLING AND MMA EVERYDAY. BLAH BLAH BLAH I LIKED IT BEFORE IT WAS COOL”. Simply my point being f*ck up, poof
“blah blah blah” my point about the decline of the educated fan. Be casual or serious, I really don’t give two flicks. And “I’m the biggest faggoack” yeah real cool comeback there skippy! Make yourself sound even dumber than the turd you stepped in on the way into the wellfare office. LOL
“I liked it before it was cool.” No, I know other people liked Pro RASSLIN way before I was ever born. I’m just tired of the imbeciles that refuse to educate themselves and that have NO SENSE OF HUMOR! And, I don’t study wrestling or MMA. I’ve studied BJJ, JJJ, Karate, and kickboxing.
And perhaps you meant STFU? Which is a John Cena move btw LMFAO Sarcasm is a tool, kinda like you. If you refuse to learn anything about the past what chance does the future have??
EDUCATE don’t HATE!
NOW GO TRAIN!

damn it got posted twice by the website. My apologies.
This is the reason why most (mainstream) mma fans are so uneducated. They think to much of WWE. The real mma fans aren’t sensitive, we just know better than to mix or even joke about mma and pro wrestling in the same sentence. MMA is a real sport, WWE is purely for entertainment purposes. Articles like this just encourages this mentality, and doesn’t do mma any justice. Edjumacate yourself. If you smelll-llll-llll….Suck it!
Thank you, Shawn!
People take this shit serious, this article is just making MMA look bad.
Yes and no. There’ s a reason people like Dana White are WWE fans. If it was brought up all the time, sure, but it’s not. I think that Brock shouldn’t be news anymore, but it’s not as big of a deal as one might think.
I totally agree. Wwe is a joke. really? Who wants to read abouth this on this website. Plus, wwe is all scripted. Dont u know? Duh
It’s called a joke. Don’t you know? DUH!!! :-/
It’s ****en fake!!!!!
how the hell does this relate to mma???
How does it not ? Brock Lesnar was a MMA star and now has a new job and he has many fans out there that probly do not watch wrestling but care about how he is and what he is doing. Not every action deserves a reaction and people dont need to troll on everything thats ever posted. Keep your complaining to yourself.
Overeem can go to WWE, and kick Lesnar’s ass all over again.
Lol @ the title
I always paid to watch fight so you could call me a fan but I feel like he’s took our sport and SHIT ON IT
Dana sign this mug back up so frank Mir can blood him up!!!
I am a big fan of both WWE and UFC . I feel they offer something to both sides of the fence. WWE is not “fake” wrestling, it even says in the disclamer ” this is entertainment”. WWE haters need to learn to read lol. Jokes aside, both take years of sacrafice and training and I know that fans to both are loyal and sometimes one sided. I thing it’s a good thing that BJ has commented on Brock even though it’s not UFC. I am sure promoting both via the other will only bring more fans to both. It’s not a ratings war. If it was I think the billion dollar WWE company has that top place, even if it’s just for now.I LOVE LESNAR!!
Your all cut still crying at the shame that our WWE star came in with **** all training and not only won the heavyweight belt but then defended it. That is a burn UFC fans will feel for a very very long time.
HA, he actually got his ass beat badly by people his own size. Overeem, cain, carwin. You joke
Perhaps he did, but he ALSO beat one of the greatest Heavy/Light heavyweights of ALL TIME, in Randy Couture, to WIN the belt! And the fact that he got a life threatening illness and had to have parts of his insides removed, but STILL got into the cage and FOUGHT (even if he did loose) means nothing right?? What a wanker! :-/
