Cote Out To Show UFC Fans And Execs He Has Improved Since Last Stint | UFC NEWS

“I want to erase the last fight I did against Tom Lawlor in the UFC management’s head. That was a pretty bad fight, I take the blame for that. I feel like I’m reborn in the UFC, have to come back and show I deserve to be there. I improved much more my game, especially my wrestling, now I’m ready to be back and show the world my new skills. I’m not going to bring back the old Cote, I’m going to bring back a new Cote. You’re going to see a lot of improvement, but still a lot of power in my hands, and a solid chin.”
As he tells it to Canadian media outlet Sportsnet.ca, “The Predator”, is ready to embark on his second UFC stint and prove why he was once considered one of the most dangerous middleweight fighters in the world.
Getting called in as a replacement for Rich Franklin against Cung Le, Cote will work on making the most out of his second chance in the UFC following a prior three-fight losing streak in the promotion.

If anyone can do it, it’s probably not Cote. Haha. Jk. Rootin’ for him. I like this better than the Franklin fight!
Not to rain on the parade but I DON’T THINK he has improved exponentially since his last fight. If he goes in there and K.O lee then maby ill retract my statement.
The ‘Predator” is back….fear the big right hand!
Doesn’t everyone try to improve before their next fight? That’s not anything special. U should be doing your job lol
If Cote connects its allover for Cung. Cote has a very weak ground game compared to most UFC calber fighters but I doubt this one ends up on ground as Cung only likes standup
let’s be honest, if cung lee comes into this fight in good shape, cote is going to get knocked out.
I saw cung le throw unorthodox strikes but he fatigued quickly and didn’t respond well to hett
To getting hit
Definitely an unexpected opponent, so hopefully will be interesting and least…
Honestly, neither patrick,or cung will be in the ufc in 2013 so who gives a shit.cung lee what a freak show, this guys about as much of a mma fighter as i am,and cote, well we all know what he brings.zzzzzzzzzzz
If you’re talking about new and improved COTE… Drop down to Welterweight, then I’ll believe you, with all the atribute’s you’re boasting.
