I’m amped for the Swanson/Poirier fight another impressive performance by Cub should make him #1 contender. Can’t wait for his rematch against Aldo.
Will respectfully agree to disagree. i think Cub will come out looking for the KO early and often, which will allow Poirer to set up some nice counters and eventually take the fight to the mat, and then its all she wrote for Swanson. But just my opinion. I think this has FOTN written all over it.
I see Barao winning this because of his phenomenal counter punching. I see McDonald coming hard for the knockout and Barao catching him with a counter or by submission. I think Barao is the more complete fighter. But, you never know.
Barao by submission or UD. I agree with Nuitari about Macdonald coming out guns blazin’, but I think Barao will weather the early storm and pick Macdonald apart in the later rounds, all the while looking for a sub to end it. Not sure about Mac’s cardio and he he can hang for 5 rds, but we know Barao can.. But the fight could just as easily end a lot earlier.. Its MMA, anything can happen..
First they put it on a channel nobody has(fuel tv). Then they put it on at 3 in the afternoon? Don’t expect good ratings for this one Dana.
It was in London..Thats the reason for the time slot.
