Faraz and the Tri – Star camp have made mention that the young Rory McDonald will be champ in two years.  BJ Penn is coming back to do this fight and UFC 152 maybe his last fight on his contract. If the fight goes well for the “Prodigy” will it be enough fuel to make a title run?

Jens Pulver:  Any extra motivation?  You’re taking on the young guy – GSP is sayin ‘This is the guy – he’ll be the champ when I’m done, he is the future.  He is all these things.’  And you’ve seen him in a couple of fights to Chae Mills – the way that he looks – what do you think of Rory as a fighter?  Have you seen the kinks in his armor that motivates you – that gets you pumped to fight him?

BJ Penn:

“I see Rory – Rory is very good.  He is still young but has been in the game long.  He’s got a lot of miles on him – not a lot of miles where his body is worn down or anything.   I just mean he’s got a lot of experience for being so young.  He’s been at a high level for a couple of years now.  He’s a great test.  I was just watching a video of him yesterday.  He’s saying ‘I’m 22 and when I’m 24 I’ll be the world champion.’  He’s very good.  He’s got a lot of confidence.  I’m sure his team has a lot of confidence in him also.  I think this is definitely a great challenge and a great test.   I’m definitely motivated for this fight.  I like everything that is going on with this fight.  Rory is one of the best guys.  Faraz and everybody say he’ll be a champ in 2 years.

I’m not thinking of any type of title run right now.  I’m just coming back doing this fight

I’m pretty sure this is the last fight on my contract – I have to go back and check again but I think this is the last fight on my contract and I’d like to finish out my contract also.”
