Bisping on Belfort: He has the heart of a chicken | UFC NEWS
“I’m looking forward to going to Brazil. I was there for just a few days before Christmas doing PR for this fight. I shook Vitor’s hand and we had a laugh about how at UFC 152 we were around each other quite a lot and got along great – and now we are fighting. It happens a lot in the UFC but it’s always a little strange.
I noticed he looked HUGE. Massive arms, chest and shoulders – a body for posing down at the beach – but then I noticed these little chicken legs sticking out of his arse. I thought: “He has the upper body of a lion but the legs of a chicken”.
And – now we are this close to the fight – I will say that he has heart of a chicken, too. He’s a professional bully. If you let him have his way he will rip you apart in short order, but if you fight back and get him tired, he backs down and does basically nothing.”
Michael Bisping takes to YahooSports! to blog about his upcoming fight against Vitor Belfort next week on FX. The British fighter will get his long awaited title shot with a victory, but Vitor Belfort is no easy task for any man.

Belfort had his chance to become legendary. 2X title shots with two of UFCs greatest and fuked up, this is Bispings time, he got robbed with Phael, now its time for Revenge. BTW for you kids who will reply, suck it
Despite the crude way he says it, Bisping has a point. Vitor crumbles when his game plan doesn’t work 100%. He was hesitant with Anderson – got KO’d. His submission didn’t work against Jones – got dominated and finished. Dan Henderson had his way with him (one judge scoring 30-24 i.e. 10-8 every round).
If he is discouraged early in this fight, Bisping will probably dominate – but Vitor always has a punchers chance.
This is such a bad matchup for Bisping. Slow Hendo and slow Stann both caught Michael. Bisping managed to survive against Stann because he took him down, which he couldn’t do against Hendo and can’t do against Vitor.
I scratch my head when people count Belfort out. This guy fights 185 more often than anything, and he goes in on short notice to fight Jon Jones… basically a heavyweight who can make a big cut. He busts Jon’s arm, and hands down comes the closest to defeating him… ON THE GROUND.
This guy has insane hands and just puts people’s lights out with that left hand…

I predict vitor ko’s bisping in the 1st. I don’t see vitor being hesitant. I don’t remember the last time I saw bisping knock someone out. Not saying he can’t do it but Vitors stand up is not to be toyed with.
