13 Bout Lineup Finalized For UFC 158: GSP vs. Diaz | UFC NEWS

The UFC 158 lineup has been finalized and ready to go on March 16 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The 13 fight bout lineup boasts the most anticipated match-up in MMA this year, maybe ever, George St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz for the UFC Welterweight Championship as the Main Event.
Everyone is looking forward to the Main Event that has been hyped up and talked about for almost two years now. GSP (23-2) will finally get to fight the man that he feels is the most disrespectful person on the planet; Nick Diaz. Diaz (26-8) will get another crack at the Welterweight title that eluded him when he fought, and lost, Carlos Condit at UFC 143. They fought for the Interim title while GSP healed from his torn ACL.
There are a total of eight fights scheduled for the prelims, four on Facebook and four on FX.
The featured fight on the prelims is a Welterweight bout between Patrick Cote, 19-8, and Bobby Voelker, 24-8, which will air on FX. Cote will be looking to continue on his journey back up to the top of the contenders after winning his last fight at UFC 154 by DQ, punches to the back of the head, over Alessio Sakara. While Strikeforce import Voelker will be looking to prove that he belongs in the UFC, after back-to-back TKO victories over Roger Bowling.
The main card features what has been called the “UFC Welterweight Tournament”. The co-Main Event features former interim champion Carlos Condit (28-6) vs. Johny Hendricks (14-1). Rory MacDonald withdrew from his scheduled fight with Condit due to an injury the UFC had to shuffle the lineup. Taking the place of Hendricks against Jake Ellenberger (28-6) is former Strikeforce champion Nate Marquardt (32-11).

Great card!.. happy to see Mein vs. Miller has been put on the FX card now.
how about rick story has fell to facebook fights
Great card. Why is the Ricci fight on the ppv though? I think Cruickshank’s fight should be on it instead
+1
Cruickshank’s striking is awesome!!
man i wish we can see the juggernaut and big rig go at it…that was easily going to be fight of the night…both guys are studs and i was actually leaning to jake to win it….if it werent for a (my opinion only) bad reffed match with kampmann and ellenberger than jake would be fighting for the title…that dude is a beast…still think hes the best welterweight right now
i agree, id love too see jake ellenburger vs rory mcdonald
Lol… I thought you wanted to see Lawler fight Rory, now it’s Ellenburger. There isn’t a WW out there that can beat Rory….except Georges even then I wouldn’t bet on it!
i agree brother Magoo!
I think Rory is the most technical fighter at WW…i don’t know how much longer GSP and him can do the “we won’t fight dance!” LOL
…and I am looking very forward to GSP puting Dick Diaz in his place too…somewhere around the middle of the pack at WW.
He tries his march forward with a snarl on his face and hope for the best GSP will put him on his back and control him all night…I do hope GSP can start finishing guys again…and I’d love that trend to start with Diaz.
I also want to see Rory get his redemption against Condit…that will come eventually i think.
i do, i want to rory mcdonald fight most fighters because hes sick
