UFC officials announced four new matchups this week for their summer return trip to Ireland, as the Fight Night 46 card starts to take shape.
Ian McCall will be taking on Brad Pickett, Ilir Latifi will go up against Tom Lawlor, Phil Harris and Neil Seery will square off, and Cody Donovan will scrap with Nikita Krylov on the July 19th card, which will emanate out of Dublin’s O2 Arena, now called “The O2”. The card should stream on UFC Fight Pass in the U.S. and if you happen to be in Ireland, tickets for the event go on sale in June.
“Uncle Creepy” McCall and “One Punch” Pickett have been going back and forth in social media and other news outlets, ever since a scheduled matchup between the two exciting fighters had to be nixed earlier in the year, due to an injury which would force McCall off the card.
“I’ve never looked forward to punching someone in the face as much as Ian McCall in my life,” Pickett stated (quote via MMAJunkie.com). “I’ve never had the chance to visit Ireland, but the support Neil Seery received from the Irish fans when I fought him in London was amazing. I hope they’ll be able to show me the same this time round.”
With these additions to the card, the lineup now includes:
•Ryan LaFlare vs. Gunnar Nelson
•Ian McCall vs. Brad Pickett
•Ilir Latifi vs. Tom Lawlor
•Phil Harris vs. Neil Seery
•Cody Donovan vs. Nikita Krylov
